ODME — Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment
The CLEANTRACK 1000B is Brannstrom’s fourth-generation Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment system. It is designed for oil discharge monitoring applications and developed to meet modern shipbuilding requirements.
The CLEANTRACK 1000B is type approved according to IMO Resolution MEPC.108(49) as amended by MEPC.240(65). It is also approved for bio-fuel blends according to applicable IMO circulars and amendments.
Its compact design allows easier installation in hazardous cargo areas, even where the nearest non-hazardous area is far away. The system reduces the need for extensive cabling, piping, and bulkhead penetrations, making it suitable for both newbuildings and retrofit projects.
15ppm Bilge Alarm
Brannstrom’s 15ppm bilge alarm solutions are used for monitoring oil content in bilge water discharge applications. These systems help vessels control and monitor bilge water discharge in accordance with marine environmental requirements.

Fresh Water Silver Ion Sterilizer
The SILSTER 168 Fresh Water Silver Ion Sterilizer uses silver ion disinfection, a proven method for fresh water sterilization.
The system automatically sterilizes the water in fresh water holding tanks with no need for crew interaction and practically no maintenance. It can also sterilize bunkered water without manual setting of current and time.
The long-lasting effect of silver ions, combined with the fact that the process does not change the taste, smell, or color of the water, makes SILSTER 168 suitable for marine and other fresh water applications.
Oil Detector
The OILCAP 158 Oil Contamination Alarm detects oil contamination in water tanks by measuring capacitance between its rod and the tank walls.
A lower capacitance value indicates a higher concentration of oil in the water. When the oil concentration rises above the set alarm value, the system activates a relay output. It also includes a power failure alarm relay, adjustable alarm limit, delay settings, and LED status indication.
